Reduced Visibility Operations are operations below RVR 2600 (½ SM) down to and including RVR 1200 (¼ SM).  With the installation of the Runway Guard Lights on RWY 16/34, Transport Canada has approved Springbank Airport to operate during reduced visibility operations. 

The following departure minimas are now in effect:

• Runway 16 RVR 1200 (1/4SM) Day Only
• Runway 34 RVR 1200 (1/4 SM) Day Only

During Reduced Visibility Operations the following restrictions are in place:

• RWY 07/25 is unavailable except for taxiing across on TWY A (SEE MAP)
• Uncontrolled taxiways are used at the pilot’s discretion
